Bob McTavish began shaping surfboards on the east coast of Australia in 1961 at the age of 17. Always looking for the most progressive shapes available, he teamed up with Nat Young and George Greenough in 1966 and was instrumental in bringing surfboard design into the modern era. Hank Warner Surfboards “Hanky” is a charter member of the Windansea crew and has shaped over 25,000 Surfboards under labels like Caster, G&S, and Hot Buttered. Steve Walden Surfboards Steve is recognized by many in the Surfing Industry as the father of the modern longboard. Greg Webber Surfboards Greg is part of the illustrious Webber family from Australia. Greg is often referred to as the shaper to the stars, having shaped quivers for the likes of Barton Lynch to Shane Herring to Taj Burrow.
