BEGINNER SURFBOARDS
Over the last few years with advancements in technology lots of different surfboards designed specifically for the beginning surfer have emerged. Probably the most well known of these have been the epoxy models developed by New Surf Project www.newsurfproject.com. In the 4 years since NSP was created, they’ve become the largest surfboard manufacturer in the world!
NSP E2 Epoxy
Nsp shortboards and South Point Longboards produced in E2 Epoxy are built to withstand the trials and tribulations of the recreational surfer. E2 Epoxy was designed to deliver performance with maximum sturdiness.
The thick epoxy fiberglass skin covered with TopSheet is the key to the E2 Epoxy construction’s durability. Extremely puncture resistant, it’s strong enough to handle small impacts without shattering. This makes it a great board for beginners as well as intermediates to progress on.

SOUTH POINT LONGBOARDS
Starting in 2005, NSP introduced are new line of high performance surfboards produced in three phase epoxy construction. Three phase was created to combine the weight and strength benefits of carbon fiber and Kevlar with the durability and affordability of the Topsheet finished surfboard.
Three phase Epoxy is a bridge between the standard E2 Epoxy construction and higher end “designer” epoxy models. With high-performance shapes for intermediate to advanced surfers, lighter weights and increased stiffness. Three phase construction creates a livelier, faster and more responsive surfboard.

SOFT SURFBOARDS
The perfect beginner surfboards for many younger surfers are the soft surfboards which are constructed of the same soft foam as the modern bodyboards. These surfboards are constructed using wooden stringers to increase the stiffness, and include soft molded fins for safety.
Soft Surfboards are available in sizes from 5′6″ - 9′0″
Surface Surfboards
The Surface softboards are constructed of an EPS core, with dual stringers for strength, and a XEPE sandwich deck. These boards offer increased floatation and durability. Surface softboards are available in lengths from 6′0″ - 8′0″.
